How To Create Google Tracking URLs

If you have a lot of backlinks, whether they are social shares, directory links, or advertising links, you want to be able to track the specific data associated with the traffic being driven to your website by these links. You can also track the success of certain email or web-based campaigns to see what the user behavior looks like and what areas they click on. Google allows you to build out URLs with UTM parameters that communicate with your Google Analytics account, so you can identify which URLs are working best and why. Google also has this feature available for mobile app ads, and you can build your Tracking URLs for Google Play ads.

Here is what the URL builder form looks like.
